People always write letters when they are NOT happy with a service provided but over the years I've discovered that people who write letters when they ENJOYED your service are rare! Luckily, I have a LOT of these wonderful letters on file. Here are some excerpts:

Not only was this a delightful and relaxing way to see several neighborhoods of the city but was also very informative as to the natives that inhabit the island. You really get a feel of everday life as well as the homes, and gossip of the famous and wealthy. Our guide loves the city and the people who live there. As I mentioned on the phone this morning, our group thought Jim Dykes was simply the best! Never once in his presentation did he stop to think of his next topic. It seemed that every building, corner or even hill could bring a thought to his mind about the history of the city. It is the first time while in New York that I did not hear one person complain that they could not understand the guide--Jim's oration was very easy to follow and understand. Not only did he take us on our city tour but offered, and took, many of our group on the subway, then stayed long enough to take us to Tavern On The Green so we would have more information for that area of the city.

5 Stars- TOP OF THE LINE TOUR   If you are visiting NYC for one day or can only fit one tour into your schedule, this is the tour to take! My husband and I took several tours during our visit but this was the best. Our guide Jim Dykes was amazing. He was very pleasant, kind and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to give details on so many buildings we passed, we were amazed. The history he gave us was fascinating. It is difficult to express in words how much we enjoyed this tour. IT WAS THE BEST TOUR I HAVE EVER BEEN ON!  I really enjoyed this tour.  I usually take 2-3 vacations a year for the past 5 years this trip was by far the best trip ever... I have been to nyc three times this was the best mainly because your tour was so educational and entertaining. FUN & INFORMATIVE! GREAT WAY TO SEE THE CITY!  Jim Dykes, our guide, did a great job giving  our group of 9 a flavor of New York City and a peek into the lives of the Rich and Famous. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL TOUR!  Jim Dykes was the most knowledgeable tour guide I have ever encountered. IT WAS A DELIGHTFULLY FUN TOUR!  Our guide knew such interesting facts and triva about NY City which made the tour very interesting. It was fun to find out where celebrities live and shop.
